Archaeological Museum of Tinos: Located in Chora, this museum showcases ancient artifacts found on the island, including sculpture, ceramics, and inscriptions.
Sanctuary of Poseidon and Amphitrite – Kionia: One of the most important ancient sanctuaries in the Aegean, dedicated to Poseidon and his consort Amphitrite. The site gave its name to the area of Kionia, inspired by the impressive colonnades that once stood there.
Venetian Castle of Exombourgo: The second-highest mountain of Tinos, and once home to both the ancient city of Tinos and the powerful Venetian fortress, considered the strongest castle in the Aegean. Explore the ruins and learn about its pivotal role in medieval history.
Pyrgos Village & Marble Museums: Visit the largest village of Tinos, renowned for its marble artistry. Discover the Museum of Marble Crafts, an architectural gem, and explore the House Museum of Giannoulis Chalepas, one of Greece’s most important sculptors. End the visit with a break in the famous square, shaded by a centuries-old plane tree.
